START OF THE SPORTING CAREER
• Anna Haag started skiing when she was really young as comes from a sporting family
• Her parents would take her out for skiing trips to Orsa Grönklitt and to the mountains
• When she was 7 years old she attended her first training in the ski club
• Anna Haag studied at the well-known ski gymnasium in Mora

CAREER

• Anna Haag raced her first FIS race in 2003
• She competed at the Junior World Championships in 2005 and 2006
• Until 2005/06 Haag was competing for the Orsa Ski Club
• In 2006 she changed for IFK Mora
• First World Cup in November 2006 in Gällivare
• Since the season 2007/2008 Anna Haag has been regularly competing in World Cup
• In 2009 first the World Cup podium, in Beitostoelen - third place in 10 km Free
• At the 2009 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec Haag took bronze place in relay
• At the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver she won two silver medals - in skiathlon and team sprint with her teammate and friend Charlotte Kalla
• At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 she took silver medal in 4x5 km relay
• In the season 2011/12 Haag finished in 23rd place in the Overall World Cup standing with seven top 10 results and individual best in Kuusamo Ruka Triple stage over 10 km Classic, where she claimed 5th place
• Last winter Haag finished just off the top 30 in the Overall World Cup standing in 31st place
• She won silver medal in 4x5 km relay at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme 2013

PERSONAL

• Anna Haag has two siblings, sister Sofia and younger brother Björn
• Cross-Country skiing is her hobby, job and her life and that she “lives and breathes it 24-7.”
• Besides Cross-Country skiing she is interested in interior design and fashion
• Anna Haag lives in a relationship with the Swedish sprint star Emil Joensson and they bought together an apartment in Davos and spend big part of the year there in Switzerland
• Her most favorite place for training lies in the Swedish mountains, a place called Grövelsjön
