Blinkfestivalen around the corner!

In less than a week, from Wednesday, 31st July to 3rd August 2019, the Blinkfestivalen awaits with exciting Rollerski action in Ålgård, Sandnes and Lysebotn (NOR).
FIS Cross-Country's top stars and many of the world's best Rollerski athletes have signed up for the divers Rollerski races during the four day programme. Thus, "Blink" reports a record number regarding registered participants with a total of 3'000 entries.
Amongst the starters are 41 World Championships medal winners of Cross-Country skiing and biathlon from 19 different nations.
The side events attract many youngsters. Especially the Kid Camp records a fantastic presumed number of participants with over 3'500 children on the start line.
On Wednesday, 31st July the festival starts with the Blink Classic, a race over 60km from Ålgård to Sandnes, including a special new section of the double poling Lysebotn Opp - a 640m climb during 7.4 km.
