Cross-Country TD Seminar takes place in Metsovo (GRE)

Shortly before the FIS Cross-Country season starts, the final seminar for Technical Delegates took place in Metsovo (GRE). 34 representatives from 15 nations joined the intensive seminar. Updates on ICR rules and safety regulations were the main topic at the meeting and a theoretical exam for new officials took place.
A pivotal aspect of having the TD seminars is the exchange of experience between the different levels of FIS Cross-Country, including Roller Skiing events. Additionally, the participants’ backgrounds varied regarding the professional level, but also in terms of cultural perspectives and added fresh point of views to some cases.
Overall, a great amount of experience from the field was collected and shared to ensure the best possible preparation for the jury members and to ensure a high quality of jury work and fair competitions.
