FIS Cross-Country mourns death of Ivan Utrobin

At the end of June, the death of the 87 year-old former Cross-Country athlete from Russia was published.  Ivan Utrobin received a bronze medal at the 1964 Winter Olympic Games in Innsbruck with the Russian team during the 4x10 kilometres event. Additionally, Utrobin had won bronze at the 1962 World Championships in Lahti (FIN). Long before the FIS Cross-Country World Cup was established, Utrobin set the bar for a long row of successful Russian athletes and contributed to the development of the sport in the country.

The FIS Cross-Country family would like to express it's sencere regrets for the loss.
