More athletes retirements in the Swiss Cross-Country team

After Switzerland's biggest Cross-Country star Dario Cologna had announced his retirement plans, also Sprint ace's Laurien van der Graaff and Jovian Hediger revealed that they are entering their last World Cup season.
34 year-old Van der Graaff had thought about stepping back from professional Cross-Country skiing previously. After her break-through two World Cup victories, her decision to stay in elite Cross-Country skiing was however rewarded last February, when she and Nadine Fähndrich raced to a Silver medal at the World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf.
With Jovian Hediger, another Sprint expert from the Swiss Team will leave the squad in Spring. The 30 year-old celebrated a hard fought for second place in last seasons Teamsprint in Ulricehamn together with Roman Furger. Despite the team efforts, after his third participation at Olympic Winter Games, Hediger announced to step back from professional skiing after the season as well.
