Rome to host the third stage of the Rollerski World Cup

For the first time ever, Rome will host a stage of the prestigious circuit — an extraordinary setting where athletes will race against the backdrop of some of the world’s most iconic landmarks. The event coincides with the Jubilee Year and comes just months before the Milano–Cortina Olympic Games, making it a truly historic occasion for both participants and spectators.
The Rome competition follows the earlier stages in Madona (LAT) and Trollhättan (SWE), serving as the final stop before the grand finale in Ziano di Fiemme this upcoming weekend.
This stage will feature the world’s top Skiroll athletes — men and women, seniors and juniors — with 18 nations represented.
Competition Program for Rome and Fiemme
Over two intense days, spectators will experience Skiroll in a way never seen before — combining high-level competition with the breathtaking scenery of Rome.
Tuesday, September 16 – Sprint TL 150 m
Venue: Via della Domus Aurea, with the Colosseum as a backdrop.
Format: Single starting round; top 16 athletes advance to knockout rounds.Wednesday, September 17 – Mass Start TL 10 km
Venue: Terme di Caracalla on a 1.2 km loop.
A public village area will be set up to host fans and frame the event.
Val di Fiemme – World Cup Finals, September 19–21, 2025
The grand finale of the 2025 Skiroll World Cup will take place in Val di Fiemme, a venue synonymous with Nordic skiing tradition. Three days of competition will decide the season’s overall Champions.
