Stubai slopestyle World Cup: qualifications results
Aug 31, 2018·Freeski Park & PipeFollowing two days of practice on course at Stubai Zoo earlier this week, more than 100 athletes showed up once again on top of Austria's prime snowpark on Friday and Saturday to compete in qualifications for the second slopestyle World Cup of the season.
And while the men’s qualifications were held smoothly under blue skies on Friday, the ladies on the other hand had to face more challenging conditions on Saturday. Strong wind gusts caused several postponements of the competition, but fortunately the weather played along in the afternoon and the ladies were able to drop in for two qualification runs.
Now the top field of 8 ladies and 16 men will compete in Sunday’s finals scheduled to kick off at 9:45 CET.
