Swiss Ski announces 2020/21 freestyle and freeski squad

This week the Swiss squad announced their freestyle and freeski team athlete nominations for the 2020/21 competition season, with the selections made by Swiss Ski Freestyle chief Christoph Perreten along with the coaching team and the selection committee.

50 athletes from the sports of ski cross, freeski, aerials and moguls have achieved Swiss Ski squad status for the 2020/21 season, with a total of 15 athletes recieving the highest team membership.

With 17 members, the 17-member Skicross roster includes the largest national team of four ski freestyle sports: Joss Berry, Marc Bischofberger, Romain Détraz, Alex Fiva, Jonas Lenherr, Sanna Lüdi, Ryan Regez and Fanny Smith start as members of the national team the new season.

Similarly, there are also 17 names on the freeski roster, with Fabian Bösch, Mathilde Gremaud, Sarah Höfflin, Andri Ragettli and Giulia Tanno, repping the Swiss at the national team level.

The Aerials team starts the 2020/21 season with nine selected squad athletes where, in addition to Noé Roth, Pirmin Werner also made the leap into the highest squad level.

And, finally, the 2020/21 Swiss Moguls team will consist of seven athletes, with 24-year-old Marco Tadé leading the way with A-squad designation.
