Brisbane's Geoff Henke Olympic Winter Training Center at the Sleeman Sports Complex hosted its second FIS water ramp event in history on September 15. Following a successful summer tour that included stops in Austria, Switzerland, the USA, and the Czech Republic, the Brisbane event showcased a strong international field representing Australia, Germany, Ukraine, Switzerland, and the USA.

In the women's competition, double World Cup champion Danielle Scott (AUS) made a triumphant return, dominating her first event of the summer. Scott delivered an impressive performance with a double Full-Full in the super final, earning a score of 100.81 points to secure first place.

Completing the Australian podium sweep were Abbey Willcox (AUS) and Airleigh Frigo (AUS), who both scored 94.47 points with their Full double Full attempts. Willcox edged out Frigo for second place due to a slightly higher score for form.

In the men's event, Dmytro Kotovskyi (UKR) showcased his talent with a flawlessly executed Full double Full double Full, claiming first place with a score of 139.23 points. Last year's overall aerials World Cup runner-up, Pirmin Werner (SUI), followed closely in second with a double Full-Full double Full, scoring 127.00 points. Maskym Kuznietsov (UKR) rounded out the men’s podium in third place, finishing with 111.06 points for his Full double Full-Full.

As the aerials water ramp season approaches its conclusion, the final event is set for September 21-22 in Qinhuangdao, China, and we are all eager to see how the summer season wraps up.
