Freestyle Night 2025 officially launched the aerials water ramp season this past Saturday, July 12, in Mettmenstetten, Switzerland—and it delivered on every level.

The event marked the start of the brand-new FIS Aerials Summer Alps Tour, a three-stop series designed to provide young talents and FIS-level athletes with meaningful off-season competition. Modeled after the winter Moguls Alps Tour, this summer edition offers valuable development opportunities on water ramps throughout the warmer months.

Saturday’s action opened with youth competitions in U13 and 13+ categories, putting the spotlight on the next generation of aerial stars. In the first-ever FIS Alps Tour junior competition, Hilaria Lozano claimed the women’s victory ahead of Lorraine Blankestijn and Alissa Scanzio. In the men’s field, Andrin Laber secured the win, followed by Lino Wernli and Moritz Gut.

The evening program turned up the intensity with the elite showdown—and the atmosphere was electric.

A sold-out crowd of 2,700 packed into Jumpin to witness World Champion Noé Roth take the win in a thrilling duel against fellow Swiss standout and World Champs bronze medalist Pirmin Werner. In the women’s event, Emma Weiss (GER) edged out Diana Yablonska (UKR) in a tightly contested final.

Adding to the energy, BMX riders lit up the ramp with spectacular tricks that had the crowd on its feet. A stunning parachute show over Mettmenstetten drew cheers from every corner of the venue, and the night wrapped with an unforgettable live concert from DODO, turning the event into a full-blown summer celebration.

Next up, the Aerials Summer Alps Tour continues with stops at Acrobat Park Štíty (Czech Republic) and Hohenems (Austria), giving athletes more opportunities to compete, progress, and connect with fans in a fun, summer setting.

The tour also feeds directly into the FIS Freestyle Summer Grand Prix, returning stronger than ever in 2025. The Grand Prix opens once again in Mettmenstetten in mid-August, before heading to Park City (USA), Brisbane (AUS), and Qinhuangdao (CHN).
