80 years of the Chilean Ski and Snowboard Federation

On june 25th, 2023 the Chilean Ski and Snowboard Federation celebrated his 80th Anniversary since its founding in 1942.

During all this time and thanks to the work and dedication  of many leaders and athletes our Federation is one of the leaders in all the ski disciplines in South America.

Our athletes have participated in all Olympic Winter Games since Sainkt Moritz, SUI in the year 1948 and also in World Ski Championships in many of the FIS disciplines.

FIS affiliated since the year 1949 Chile is well recognized as an organizer of many FIS and SAC races from more than 70 years and also a World Alpine Ski Championships in the year 1966 in Portillo deep in the famous Andes Mountains, were the actual World Cup in Alpine Skiing was born.
