FIS Development and Membership Hub gears up for next seasons
Jun 12, 2024·Inside FISThe FIS Development Team is happy to announce the ongoing evolution of the Development and Membership Hub, launched in late 2023. Following a successful trial run in the 2023/24 season, the hub has become a useful resource for National Ski Associations (NSAs) seeking to plan and access development activities.
Centralised Hub for 24/7 Access and Information Sharing
The Development and Membership Hub provides NSAs with a central platform to access development resources and stay informed 24/7. Feedback from participating NSAs during the trial period has been overwhelmingly positive.
Long-Term Planning
Most NSAs have already received access credentials. NSAs who have not yet done so can obtain their access at development@fis-ski.com.
Recognizing the importance of early planning, FIS Development has already uploaded development activities for the upcoming 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons onto the development hub. While the programme might be subject to adjustments, it offers a valuable roadmap for NSAs to structure their development initiatives.
Empowering Growth Through Collaboration
With its focus on information sharing and facilitating long-term planning, the FIS Development and Membership Hub is ready to play a significant role in the continued development and success of skiing and snowboarding.
New Associated Members
We are pleased to announce that FIS has welcomed two new associated members. On June 5th, 2024, during the Congress in Iceland, Qatar and Guinea-Bissau officially became our members. We extend a warm welcome to them and wish them great success in developing winter sports in their countries.
FIS Plus Programme
The first cycle of the 2024 FIS Plus Programme is currently in progress. Applications are closed, and the FIS team is conducting a detailed evaluation. This will enable the FIS Council to make more informed decisions regarding the granting of support to applicants.
