As the 2026/27 season gets underway, fans have new ways to play, watch and follow snow sports, with a renewed FIS Gaming Zone, the launch of FIS ID and updates to FIS TV.

More ways to play with the FIS Gaming Zone

The renewed FIS Gaming Zone gives fans new ways to engage with snow sports beyond watching the races. Fantasy ALPINE SKIING and Predictor Challenge ALPINE SKIING are already live, with more games, including mini games, coming soon.

Throughout the season, it will bring together a growing range of interactive experiences, so fans can play, compete with friends and follow the action in a different way. The new-look Gaming Zone has been developed with Feeling Sports, the gaming supplier to FIS.

"We’re really happy to be teaming up with FIS again for this new Gaming Zone. Ten fantasy games across ten winter sports disciplines, all running on live competition data: it’s a big technical challenge, and one we were keen to take on," said François Grenet, CEO of Feeling Sports.

"Combined with lighter, easy-to-manage mini-games, it’s a good example of what Feeling Sports does best: giving fans a wide range of ways to get closer to the sports they follow."

One account across FIS digital products

Also launching this season is FIS ID, a single account that fans can use across FIS digital products. It aims to lay the foundation for a more personalized experience, shaped around the sports, athletes and content each fan follows most closely.

In the coming months, fans will be able to save their favorites and carry those preferences across FIS products and devices.

New ways to discover content on FIS TV

FIS TV has also been updated for the new season. A new calendar feature makes it easier to browse upcoming events and find related video, while improved athlete pages bring each athlete’s videos together in one place.

What's next

The updates are early steps in a wider plan to bring FIS digital products closer together, with further features planned during the season. Fans can create a FIS ID at https://id.fis-ski.com/, play in the Gaming Zone at https://play.fis-ski.com/#/welcome and watch on FIS TV at https://watch.fis-ski.com/en/home.

"These FIS ID, Gaming Zone and FIS TV updates are building blocks of one connected experience: one account to play, watch and follow the athletes fans care about," said Jeremy Thum, FIS Digital & Innovation Director.

"The more we understand our fans, the better we can serve them, and the more value we create for athletes, National Ski Associations and partners. These come on top of the recently announced FAST channel in North America and single YouTube channel for all our disciplines, and we're excited to bring even more fan-facing initiatives this season."
