SGP: Schmid wins PCR with 133.5 meters

In heavy rain, the Provisional Competition Round for the Men’s FIS Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix took place in Oberstdorf tonight. 
48 athletes from 9 nations completed two jumps in the Official Training before competing in the PCR on the Schattenbergschanze HS 137.

The furthest jump of the day was performed by Julian Schmid with 133.5 meters. With 149.7 points the German took the lead in front of his home crowd in Oberstdorf and secured the victory of the PCR.  
Rank 2 was taken by Christian Deuschl from Austria reaching 132 meters and 144 points. 
His team mate Fran-Josef Rehrl (130 mts, 142.2 pts), placed third.
