The Provisional Competition Round (PCR) for the final men’s event of the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup season took place in dense fog in Oslo on Friday.

A total of 52 athletes from 11 nations were on the start list for one training jump followed by the PCR. Despite the difficult visibility conditions, several athletes managed strong performances on the hill.

Austria’s Johannes Lamparter delivered the longest jump of the day. The Austrian flew 130 meters and scored 130.9 points, securing first place in the PCR.

Japan’s Ryota Yamamoto finished second after jumping 129 meters and earning 124.5 points.

Third place went to Austria’s Thomas Rettenegger, who jumped 127 meters and scored 117.8 points. Rettenegger also claimed this season’s Best Jumper Trophy, awarded to the athlete with the strongest overall jumping performances throughout the World Cup winter.

The final men’s competition of the 2025/26 World Cup season will take place tomorrow, beginning with the Ski Jumping round at 11:20 CET, followed by the cross-country race that will decide the last winner of the season.
