Competition calendars published

The preliminary competition calendars for summer 2019 and the 2019/20 winter season were published during the traditional spring meetings of the International Ski Federation (FIS) in Zurich (SUI) on Friday afternoon.

The FIS Grand Prix 2019 is scheduled to kick off in Wisla (POL) with a men's team and an individual competition on July 20th and 21st. Following the stops in Hinterzarten (GER) and Courchevel (FRA) the athletes return to Poland for two competitions in Zakopane mid-August.
After events in Hakuba (JPN), Chaikovsky (RUS) and Almaty (KAZ) the FIS Grand Prix ends as usual in the past couple of years with two individual competitions late September / early October in Hinzenbach (AUT) and Klingenthal (GER).

The Ladies' Grand Prix starts on July 27th in Hinterzarten, followed by Courchevel and Frenstat (CZE). In Chaikovsky and Almaty there will then also be mixed team competitions, besides the individual events on both weekends.

After a few weeks break, the men's 2019/20 World Cup season then starts on November 23rd and 24th in in Wisla. As always, the first highlight of the winter will be the 4-Hills-Tournament around New Year's.
Late February, Iron Mountain (USA) is on the calendar to host a World Cup weekend. This still has to be confirmed at the FIS Calendar Conference in Dubrovnik (CRO) late May. Until then, the calendars are still subject to change. 
Towards the end of the season, the Raw Air Tour will be held in Norway again before the long season ends with the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica (SLO) from March 20th to 23rd, 2020.

The Ladies' World Cup starts in Norway early December and ends with the Raw Air Tour and the Blue Bird Tour in Russia. The final event will take place on March 22nd in Chaikovsky (RUS).
