While the winter hasn't arrived in Europe yet, FIS Officials are currently busy on checking the World Cup venues for the 2017-18 season.
The snowboard cross team therefore traveled to the sole German stop on tour and met with Local Organisers of the Feldberg World Cup.
After visiting the race hill, Race Officials agreed that the course for the third edition of the event will be build based on the existing course layout.
“The course map of last year will be valid again,” confirmed FIS Race Director Uwe Beier.
Feldberg is set to host the last snowboard event prior to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.
From February 2 to 4, 2018, back-to-back SBX races are scheduled featuring finals staged in heats of 6.
