Canadian SBX Team trains in Chile ahead of 2023/24 season

Corralco, Chile, once the stage for the exhilarating South American Cup competition, is now buzzing with the world's top snowboardcross athletes. As winter sports enthusiasts eagerly await the World Cup season's commencement in Les Deux Alpes this December, national teams are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations. Among them, the Canadian SBX Team is making waves with their rigorous training sessions in Corralco.

The Chilean course, having successfully hosted the South American Cup, has proven its mettle and is now the chosen training ground for several elite teams. Alongside the Canadians, the US squad and the Swiss Ski Cross Team are also harnessing the cross course of Corralco to fine-tune their skills for the forthcoming winter campaign.

While all eyes are on every athlete, there's a particular buzz around Eliot Grondin from the Canadian SBX team. Grondin, a beacon of talent and determination, was a dominant force for the Maple Leaf squad in the previous season. His commendable performances throughout the tour culminated in him securing the third place overall in the World Cup standings. As the 2023/24 season approaches, expectations are high, and fans are eager to see if Grondin can surpass his previous feats.

With all the efforts invested in off-season training, the focus now shifts to the upcoming 2023/24 World Cup season. As December approaches, fans are hopeful to see the Canadian SBX Team's preparations bear fruit on the slopes of Les Deux Alpes.
