The 2025/26 Snowboard Cross World Cup season will start with an expanded program in Cervinia (ITA), where a newly added Mixed Team race extends the schedule through 14 December.

As the only Mixed Team event prior to the Olympic Winter Games, it provides nations with an important opportunity to evaluate form, secure additional World Cup points and fine-tune their tactics ahead of February’s Olympic action.

The updated December schedule for Cervinia is as follows:

  • 11 December: Official training – Snowboard Cross (Men/Women)

  • 12 December: Qualification – Snowboard Cross (Men/Women)

  • 13 December: Finals – Snowboard Cross (Men/Women)

  • 14 December: Snowboard Cross Mixed Team (newly added event)

Cervinia’s long-standing experience in hosting major Snowboard Cross events, together with its high-altitude setting and consistently reliable early-winter snow, makes it an ideal venue to accommodate the expanded program.

“Thanks to the organisers in Cervinia for their excellent cooperation and flexibility. We are very pleased to have secured a replacement for a World Cup competition on such short notice and we are particularly satisfied to include a Mixed Team event before the Olympic Winter Games – an important addition especially for the teams,” said Uwe Beier, FIS Chief Race Director Cross and Snowboard Alpine

Further information and start lists will be published through official FIS channels closer to the event.
