HP World Cup Stoneham, CAN - Finals - Scott James (AUS)

Thanks to his father Phil, Scotty James got introduced to snowboarding at a quite early age. After his first experiences on skis aged two, he strapped on a board just one year later and never lost his passion for the sport.

Just a few years later, at the age of six, Scotty was starting to compete at contests beating the older kids when he was ten.

Due to a 15th rank at the Stoneham World Cup just prior to the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games secured him a national team spot thus becoming the youngest ever Australian to compete at the Winter Olympics.

Despite a freshly fractured wrist which he managed to ignore over the course of the Games.

For 2014 in Sochi, this pretty tall kid is aiming to start in both, halfpipe and slopestyle. And chances are looking good as he is not only chalking up priceless experience at World Cups and other free events but also as he has been constantly improving his results.
