Why do you Telemark? I started telemarking looking for new challenges and somehow I got stuck. It is so much fun especially skiing pow is much more intense then with alpine skis. Also the races demand everyone to be a diverse athlete as they combine giant slalom, a jump and a skating part.

What is your favorite Telemark discipline? My favorite discipline is the Parallel Sprint. In the parallel I am always able to push myself further then in the other disciplines and beeing able to compare oneself directly to other athletes is an Incredible feeling.

How often do you train per Week? Whats your favorite Training? During summer preparation I usually train 4-5 days a week. I love doing endurance training on my road bike as it combines efficient training and getting to know new places. In any case I prefer outdoor training over indoor training.
During winter I usually train about 3 times a week plus 2-4 days of telemarking and/or cross-country skiing

What was the best experience of your career so far? The best experience of my career was the 4th place at the FIS Telemark Worldcup at Oberjoch, GER. Beeing able to deliver such result in front of the homecrowd was absolutely amazing.

Whats your favorite race on the World Cup Calendar? Definitely the homeworldcup in Bad Hindelang/Oberjoch, GER. Racing at home always is a very special feeling and gives you a little push to try harde

Last but not least..what do you wish for the Future? I hope that the development of the sport continues like it has over the last 2-3 years. I think it is impressive how far the sport has come since I first got to  know it and I hope that some day there will be an olympic telemark event.
