Telekidz heads to Grimentz (SUI)

The Grimentz / St-Jean telemark club organized its traditional telemark skiing discovery day. Thanks to the support of Swiss-ski and local ski shops, the telemark gear was available for free for the enthusiasts and curious skiers who joined the event, from the youngest to the oldest.
The passionated members of the telemark club coached those new disciples to help them in their first step to the freeheel turns. Nearly 80 people, including more than 30 children, took part in this initiation, which took place in a conducive atmosphere for the discovery of a new skiing technic.
Samuel Elsener, organizers of the event said, "judging by the smiles on the faces of the participants when they returned from their initiation, the free heel community will certainly have new members in the coming seasons."
