A skiing career is not solely about conquering slopes and achieving sport goals; it’s also a journey that intertwines love and family, providing a unique perspective on the pursuit of excellence.

We want to celebrate the profound impact of love and family within a skiing career, exploring how these cherished relationships shape athletes' experiences, offer unwavering support, and create a sense of connection amidst the challenges and triumphs.

Let's start with the athletes whose families have grown in the last few months.

Right in the middle of the winter season and just a few days before Christmas, Linus Strasser (GER) got the best present in the world : his son.

He is now enjoying his new training partner ;)

Also on the German side, Thomas Dressen joined the daddy club at the end of June with his daughter Elena.

For Albert Popov (BUL), the end of the season was not all plain sailing, as he and his partner saw their family grow at the end of April with the arrival of their daughter Kaya.

Let's move on to those who have said yes to each other for eternity.

After putting an end to his sporting career last season, the former racer Mauro Caviezel has just celebrated one of the happiest days of his life by marrying his partner Nina.

Although Stefan Luitz was already the father of a baby boy, he and his wife said "I do" for eternity at the beginning of June.

The french speed skier Romane Miradoli also said yes to his partner, with a very intimate and very secret wedding... so much so that there are no photos available.

In the category “soon to be married”, we find the Norwegian Ragnhild Mowinckel.

and Kira Weidle that she is now also among the so-called engaged!

Finally, let's end this article with a word to all the former skiers who are now devoting more time to their family life.

Irene Curtoni (ITA), Matteo Marsaglia (ITA), Kjetil Jansrud (NOR) are all happy with their role as parents.
