The 45th edition of the FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships wrapped up on Sunday in Narvik, Norway, with France atop the medal table, scooping four golds.
Italy were second with two golds – both courtesy of the spectacular Anna Trocker - a silver and a bronze followed by host nation Norway and Switzerland who each won a trifecta of medals. 11 countries were represented on the podium overall.
The Women’s Super G got competition underway after the Men’s and Women’s Downhill races were cancelled because of poor weather conditions.
Emy Charbonnier started the gold rush as she made a significant upgrade to her 18th place at Tarvisio 2025.
She handed Ilona Charbotel an advantage going into the Slalom section of the Team Combined as ‘Team Charbo’ made it two French golds on the opening day.

The men’s competition the following day was a carbon copy with Victor Haghighat kick-starting the action with victory in the Super G.
He handed the baton on to Nash Huot-Marchand who recaptured time on the lower section of the course after falling off the pace to clinch victory.
The double-double propelled France to the top of the standings where they remained throughout the competition.
It came a year after they topped the standings at Tarvisio 2025 with three golds and a bronze which followed eighth place with two silvers at Haute-Savoie 2024.
With Charbonnier clinching the ninth individual female title and Haghighat the 19th among men, France has now won 28 solo titles since the inaugural junior worlds at Auron 1982.
Trocker had a phenomenal championships. The 17-year-old became the first Italian woman to win two individual golds at a single edition when she excelled in the Slalom and Giant Slalom, leading home Tatum Bieler in the former for an Italy 1-3.
She’s also the first woman to win two individual titles at a single championships since Sweden’s Hanna Aronsson Elfman who also won the Giant Slalom/Slalom double at St Anton 2023.
The teenager left Narvik with two individual golds and a bronze in Team Combined with Ludovica Righi.
