FIS Universal Code of Ethics
The FIS Universal Code of Ethics defines the core values and standards of conduct that apply to everyone involved in FIS activities, including athletes, coaches, officials, members and partners.
All FIS decisions, activities and regulations are guided by the following fundamental principles:
Transparency, integrity, democracy and political neutrality in all decision‑making and management processes
Respect for the spirit of sport, based on friendship, solidarity, mutual understanding and fair play
Protection of competitions from all forms of cheating and manipulation, including doping
Respect for human dignity, with zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment or abuse in any form
Compliance with applicable laws and with the rules and regulations of the FIS, the IOC and WADA
To ensure that ethical and sports integrity rules are applied fairly and consistently, FIS relies on two independent bodies: the Independent FIS Ethics and Compliance Officer (IECO) and the FIS Ethics Committee (FEC).
Report a concern and get support
If you have a concern about ethics, safeguarding, or clean sport, you can report it through FIS’s official channels.
FIS has established a sports integrity partnership with Global Sports Investigations (GSI), which operates the external Integrity Hotline independently.
Phone: +44 (0)207 034 3403
Email: FIS@email-fis.integrityline.com
Reports submitted through the Integrity Hotline are handled confidentially and with care. Information is only shared where necessary to assess the concern, protect individuals, or ensure fair and appropriate handling.
You do not need to be certain before reporting. If you are unsure, you are encouraged to seek advice or raise a concern.
